Amazing Katie Ledecky video of her playing peekaboo with Michael Jordan as a baby resurfaces after latest Olympic gold medal triumph

Fans are raving over a resurfaced video of a young Katie Ledecky playing peekaboo with NBA legend Michael Jordan.

After bagging her ninth Olympic gold medal in Paris on Saturday, fans revisited the clip of Jordan being playful with a young Ledecky in what appears to be a luxury box at an event.

While sitting behind the swimmer, Jordan puts his hands in front of Ledecky's face and pulls away. However, the Stanford product's younger self was unfazed by Jordan's antics and continued to eat her snacks.

Later in the clip, Ledecky finally cracked - flashing a smile and looking at the person beside her. Jordan then gives her a quick tickle before letting Ledecky enjoy her popcorn in peace.

Ledecky shared the clip on X in April 2020 - when Jordan's The Last Dance docuseries was sweeping the nation during the pandemic.

The show chronicled Jordan's historical career leading up to his final season with the Chicago Bulls after winning six NBA championships.

Ledecky wrote, 'Grabbing my popcorn for tonight's episodes of #TheLastDance. I can tell you one thing about Michael Jordan: he's a tough peek-a-boo player but he didn't stand a chance against my popcorn.'

The clip has regained traction amid Ledecky's impressive run in France.

'Girl, you were ice in this. Nothing he's doing disturbed your peace. A champion even as a little,' one user wrote.

'Goat and future goat,' another added. 'The wonders of fate.' 

A third commented: 'One goat to a future goat!'

So far, She struck gold in the 1500m and 800m freestyle, silver in the 4x200 freestyle relay, and bronze in the 400m freestyle.

The decorated swimmer now has 14 Olympic medals across four Olympic games.

Aside from his NBA legacy, Jordan also has two gold medals for Team USA.
