Armie Hammer's accuser Effie Angelova says disgraced actor 'doesn't deserve a platform' and slams his mother Dru's defense - three years after cannibal scandal

The woman who was the first to speak out over disgraced Armie Hammer's disturbing sexual proclivities has slammed his attempts to relaunch his Hollywood career, telling DailyMail.com: 'Rapists don't deserve a platform'.

Effie Angelova, 27, publicly accused the actor in 2021 of violently abusing and raping her in 2017, in a scandal that saw multiple other women come forward with similar claims and ultimately ended his acting career.

Hammer, 37, was revealed to have had a four-year affair with the Bulgarian-born brunette beginning in 2016, during which he sent her hundreds of sickening texts about his violent fantasies, including one that infamously read: 'I am 100% a cannibal'.

Three years later, the Call Me By Your Name star has returned to the spotlight with a recent round of media interviews addressing the allegations - which Angelova now says has left her re-traumatized, struggling with insomnia, and feeling nauseated.

She also hit out at Hammer's socialite mother Dru for coming to her son's defense – which Angelova branded 'disgusting' and claims prove 'she's an enabler'.

Speaking exclusively to DailyMail.com she said: 'Armie is a rapist and society needs to stop forgiving rape and stop welcoming rapists back. He is depraved and sick in the head.

'He has not apologized to me. He has not taken accountability for everything he's done to me. He should stop lying and victim-blaming, and apologize and go away.'

Hammer had been one of Hollywood's golden boys until Angelova went public about suffering rape 'and other acts of violence' at his hands in January 2021. 

The former film star, who has not had an acting job since 2022, has recently made a series of public appearances in interviews, including one on Friday with Piers Morgan in which he was quizzed about being a cannibal.

'You know what you have to do to be a cannibal? You have to have actually eaten somebody,' Hammer responded on air and confirmed he has never consumed human flesh. 

He also denied abusing the women who came forward with claims about his sordid sexual behavior, insisting: 'None of those people were hurt or upset because I pushed any sexual boundaries.'  

Addressing his relationship with Angelova and her claims, Hammer described it as a 'very intense affair, very sexuality charged, between two people with very similar proclivities and kinks,' at one point conceding that his conversations would seem troubling when taken out of context. 

He also claimed that Angelova was more experienced in the world of kink than he was.  

But speaking to DailyMail.com, Angelova poured scorn on Hammer downplaying his alleged assault on her as mere sexual 'fantasies', and claimed his disturbing messages were actually admissions of rape.  

'They were events he was recounting, not just ''fantasies". He was recounting events that occurred,' she claimed. 

'He keeps causing me more trauma and harm with his disgusting video interviews where he smears me and blames me.' 

Messages sent by the actor during their four-year affair that began when Angelova was just 20 included ones that read 'I need to drink your blood' and 'I am a 100% cannibal'.

A newly revealed cache of messages and photos sent to Angelova by Hammer also reveal how the actor's sick desires were at the forefront of his mind, even while he was caring for his daughter, Harper, nine, and son, Ford, seven.

One exchange sees Hammer tell Angelova about Ford falling asleep on his chest before segueing into a sordid string of revolting fantasies, with the actor saying: 'I can't stop thinking about your mouth. 

'Your lips… How soft the inside of your cheeks feel. Your tongue. I want to lick your f***ing tongue. And your lip… god dammit [sic]. I want to bite it so hard,' he goes on in a series of consecutive messages. 

The one-sided conversation then takes a twisted turn with Hammer adding: 'How are you even real? Your brainwaves? Show me. 

'I want to see. I want to see everything. I want to see your brain, your blood, your organs, every part of you.

'I would definitely bite it. 100%. Or try to f*** it. Not sure which. Probably both. If I f***ed you into a vegetative state, I'd feed you, wash you and keep f***ing you,' he wrote. 

The messages get increasingly graphic and violent, with Hammer adding: 'My c**k is in my hand. And I'm thinking of breaking your ribs. Cutting you in to pieces and f***ing the pieces.' 

'Those are my bones. And if I want to break one to prove it I will. 

'Fingers, toes. And if you still need more proof...your f***ing neck. In my bare hands.' 

At one point, Hammer mentions he has to go and 'will check in when I can,' before firing off even more disturbing messages. 

'All I will be thinking about is raping. Ha,' he adds. 

'I want to feel that again. That sensation, that power, that lust. Lust and desire so strong it needs raping to satisfy.'

Angelova also shared a photo – which she says is 'extremely difficult' for her to look at – of the bruising and red marks she sustained on her neck after an April 2017 incident in which she claims Hammer assaulted her with a belt. 

'The marks around my neck are from his belt he strangulated me with during the attack while I was already incapacitated and sobbing uncontrollably he'd been raping me,' she claimed.  

'This is how much he tightened his belt around my neck that it left all these on my neck.'

Angelova said she has since been diagnosed with C-PTSD (Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) a severe form of PTSD, as a result of her experience with Hammer. 

'I'm diagnosed with C-PTSD because of him. All the trauma has damaged my physical health too,' she said. 

'Do you know what it's like to live with complex post-traumatic stress disorder? It's hell, every day.'

She added: 'The hardest thing is just the fact that you have to see your rapist's face and your rapist being platformed when the victims are still struggling and suffering from the trauma.

'I'm going to be suffering from this trauma from him for the rest of my life.'

For Angelova, who was also on the receiving end of some disturbing voice notes – too graphic to publish – that involve him masturbating while fantasizing about breaking her bones, the texts are yet more evidence that her story and those of fellow accusers Courtney Vucekovich and Paige Lorenze are accurate.

Lorenze, who briefly dated Hammer in 2020, accused the actor of branding his initial 'A' into her pubic area with a knife, and of bruising and sexually coercing her.

Vucekovich, a Texan businesswoman who dated the 37-year-old following his divorce from Elizabeth Chambers in 2022, also advanced a number of disturbing claims, including telling how 'he said to me he wants to break my rib and barbecue and eat it.'

Compounding Angelova's distress over Hammer's current media blitz is that of his mother Dru who has given a string of interviews defending her son and saying her world fell apart when the allegations emerged.

In an interview with DailyMail.com's You magazine published over the weekend, she said: 'Obviously, I am his mother. I would never say that Armie did everything right, because he didn't. Morally, he was wrong.

'But I do know my son was not out eating people. That I know. And Armie did not rape anybody. I knew that he was not morally right, but that was insanity.'

For Angelova, her comments have proved yet another trauma. 

'It makes me feel angry and also disgusted,' she told DailyMail.com.

'It makes me feel exploited because I don't know this woman. Why is she going out there talking about - she's denying my lived experiences that I lived. 

'It makes me feel very disgusted and she's just gross. She's so gross. And instead of holding him accountable, she's enabling him and she's supporting him, a rapist.

'Her saying that he didn't do anything, giving her opinion on whether he abused us or not – well she wasn't there.

'So she doesn't get to have an opinion.'

Angelova likened Hammer's attempts to rehabilitate himself with the ongoing furor over the inclusion of Dutch volleyball player Steven van de Velde in the Olympics.

Van de Velde, now 29, is a convicted pedophile who was handed a four-year jail sentence in 2016 after being found guilty of traveling to the UK to have sex with a 12-year-old girl when he was 19.

Angelova said: 'It is so disgusting – these abusers should not be given a platform. They're doing the same thing at the Olympics.

'We have a guy who was convicted of child rape and now he's playing at the Olympics. There are plenty of men out there who are not rapists, who are actually talented.

'So, give them the chance to be in a movie or be at the Olympics or whatever. It's so disgusting and it's extremely distressing for me.' 

Furious at Hammer's behavior, Angelova's heartbroken parents, both 58, have also spoken to DailyMail.com – describing the 'torment' she suffered at his hands and likening it to a 'crucifixion'.

Her schoolteacher mother said: 'I, as Effie's mom, can share with you the tremendous pain and suffering my daughter has been through and is going through because of Armie.

'That tormentor's cruel treatment towards my daughter, which he continues to put her through, is like a crucifixion of my daughter and his other victims.

'The inner wounds which Armie has inflicted on her are so deep, they're still bleeding. How much longer is he going to keep tearing at her wounds?!'

Meanwhile, Angelova's businessman father has described the 'negative impact' of the scandal on his family and told DailyMail.com they were forced to scour their native Bulgaria for specialist treatment after she returned from the US with 'broken dreams'.

The devastated dad, who DailyMail.com has agreed not to name, said: 'I am the father of a traumatized Bulgarian girl, who became a victim of a man who thought that everything is allowed because he is rich and famous. 'Unfortunately, our radiant daughter who was following her dreams came back from the USA completely different… Suffering, fearful and with broken dreams.

'That spirit of hope was gone. Hope for the future. Her deteriorated health as a result of the trauma from the abuse from Armie Hammer, has been forcing us for years to look for specialists and suitable doctors… And given the nature of the traumas from him, it's not easy.'

He added: 'Armie Hammer's abuse of our daughter Effie has left a heavy negative imprint on our family's life.

'Every day we pray to God to help us minimize the damage to her, and to bring the smiles back to her face. We pray that our daughter's health will improve and that joy will return to our home.'
