Children in Uganda recreate attempted assassination of Donald Trump

A group of Ugandan children have gone viral after sharing a recreation of the attempted assassination of Donald Trump. 

Days after the horrific near-fatal-shooting shocked the world, the group of children led by TikToker Blud Ug tried to offer some comic relief as they mimicked the chaotic scenes. 

Using wooden rifles and a lectern made of plastic crates, the Ugandan children satirically reproduced the shooting as the leader pumped his fist in the air and yelled 'fight.' 

The clip has racked up millions of views across social media, with viewers noting that it shows how 'the whole world' stopped and watched the assassination attempt. 

In the footage, the group of children used the real audio of Trump's shooting, as one mimicking Trump stood behind a makeshift lectern in front of other kids. 

As the shots rang out in the audio, the 'mini Trump's' Secret Service imitated the response from his security by quickly encircling him with faux wooden rifles. 

The child then pumped his fist in the air and mouthed 'fight,' just as Trump did in footage that swept the globe from Butler, Pennsylvania. 

And just as Trump lifted his fist another time as he was being bungled into an SUV by Secret Service, the young Ugandan boy kept up the act by continuing his impersonation to the end. 

While the assassination attempt sparked widespread panic and raised concerns over the safety of public figures in America, viewers used the video to joke about the huge reaction the original footage received. 

'People forget that the whole world watches what happens in America,' one person commented. 

'That moment touched something primal and deep,' another said. 

'I don't yet think we are aware of the profundity of it being witnessed so widely and immediately around the globe.' 

Commenters also took the opportunity to compare the footage of the Ugandan children to an array of conspiracies and scandals surrounding the assassination attempt. 

As scrutiny falls on the Secret Service reaction, one chimed in: 'It's sad that the children in Uganda do it better than the SS.' 

'The Secret Service would do better hiring these kids,' said another. 

The spotlight on the Secret Service comes as the agency's chief, Kimberly Cheatle, has come under mounting pressure to resign following the chaotic episode. 

As questions swirl over why her agency failed to put an agent on he roof where gunman Thomas Matthew Crooks fired from, she offered a bizarre explanation. 

She said Secret Service officials planning security for Trump's rally considered the warehouse 147 yards away from where Trump spoke to be a risky position for stationing an agent. 

'That building in particular has a sloped roof at its highest point. And so, you know, there's a safety factor that would be considered there that we wouldn't want to put somebody up on a sloped roof,' she told ABC News in an interview Tuesday.

'And so, you know, the decision was made to secure the building, from inside.'

Chilling new details have revealed that a team of local police snipers were inside the building when the 20-year-old Crooks opened fire, shot Trump in the ear and killed a member of the rally crowd. 

Crooks managed to evade cops and Secret Service three times, even though he had been deemed 'suspicious' and could have been on the roof for up to 30 minutes before he pulled the trigger.

Witnesses also begged law enforcement to act when they saw him clamber onto the roof with his AR-style rifle, but the lapse in security meant he was able to carry out his bid to take the 45th president's life.
