Eric Trump lashes out at cousin Fred who 'decided to cash in' with scathing tell-all memoir despite 'unwavering support' from family

Eric Trump has jumped to his father's defense, eviscerating his cousin Fred after he branded the Republican candidate 'evil' in a new tell-all memoir. 

The family feud exploded on the public stage on Tuesday after Eric uploaded a scathing post to X describing Fred Trump III as a freeloader. 

'It's disappointing that after decades of unwavering love, support, golf memberships, family vacations and millions of dollars in support for his wonderful son, Fred Trump has decided to 'cash in' less than a 100 days before an election. 

'I have signed the checks and witnessed first-hand as my father, and our family, has provided endless financial support so that Fred’s son could receive the best possible medical care', Eric wrote.

'To read this garbage and see that he has now followed his troubled sister simply earn a quick buck is disgusting, disheartening and a prime example of "no good deed goes unpunished."'

Fred Trump, 61, launched a slew of allegations at his uncle in the book 'All in the Family: The Trumps and How We Got this Way’.

One of his claims is that the former president told his nephew that his severely disabled son 'should just die.'

The book also brands Donald as 'evil' for cutting Fred out of the family fortune by coaxing his mentally impaired grandfather Fred Sr into signing paperwork.

Fred also claims that the 'obnoxious' young Donald was so disliked  that his siblings used to throw mashed potatoes at him over the dinner table.

The memoir, which was released today, comes despite Fred III previously slamming his sister Mary for writing a tell-all book in 2020, which also gave an unflattering account of the former President.

Delving into the Trump family's dysfunction, he writes that Tiffany Trump had a ‘painful’ childhood because of all the gossip surrounding her mother Marla Maples.

Maples and Trump became a tabloid favorite in the 1990s amid claims of infidelity, with Fred’s aunt Maryanne, a former federal judge, allegedly not a fan of her brother's second wife.

Fred also writes that Maryanne became enraged by his time in the White House, claiming she was incensed with Donald's immigration policies.

He claims Maryanne branded them 'abhorrent' and uttered: 'Can you believe the s*** he's saying?'

Fred also spoke with ABC News ahead of his book release, telling the outlet that his uncle was 'atomic crazy'.

He said that he had witnessed his uncle using racial slurs decades ago and that he also plans to vote for Kamala Harris. 

Fred described the Trump way as 'being complex and sometimes cruel' in a sit down interview with the outlet.

He said: 'And within every family, people know this, families are complicated. Every family has their crazy uncle. 

'My Uncle Donald is atomic crazy. And he has put his mark on the family history.'

When asked to explain further, he added that it 'means he does things that, even as much as I know him when he's out there now, I sort of shudder and say, 'Is this the same guy I knew?

'What's making him change? What got him this way?' But that all being said, I've always had a good relationship.

'But he's done really horrific things to me, which some people will say, 'How could you still want to have a relationship with him?' He's my uncle. He's family, and that means a lot.'

Fred's book includes a chapter titled, 'The Race Card', in which he details his memory of the former president using a racial slur. 

He claims that at the age of ten he remembers Donald arriving at his grandparents' house screaming after his El Dorado convertible had been damaged. 

Freed recalled: 'I went down to the driveway of my grandparents' house, and there was his white El Dorado convertible with two slashes. 

'Still remember it. And he had electrical tape, because the roof was black. And he used the N-word, twice just saying who he thought probably had done this.'

In a statement to ABC News, Trump Campaign Communications Director Steven Cheung denied the claims about the former president.

Cheung said: 'This is completely fabricated and total fake news of the highest order.

'It is appalling a lie so blatantly disgusting can be printed in media. Anyone who knows President Trump knows he would never use such language, and false stories like this have been thoroughly debunked.'

Fred is the son of Donald’s older brother, Fred Trump Jr, or ‘Freddie’ as he was known, who died aged 42 in 1981 after a lifetime of alcohol addiction.

‘All in the Family’ describes the Trumps' privileged upbringing in Queens, New York, with his four siblings in frank terms.
