Horror moment bearded man carries away terrified woman 'crying for help' before driving off in apparent kidnapping

This is the horrifying moment a bearded man was seen grabbing a woman as she screamed for help before he bundles her into a car in an apparent abduction in Hillsboro, Oregon.

Terrifying video captured by a home-security camera is helping police piece together the 'possible kidnapping' in suburban Portland as they call on the community to help identify the victim and suspect still at large.

The shock footage shows the woman ringing the doorbell of a stranger's home near Southeast 32nd Avenue and E. Main Street as a man charges her from behind.

She is heard calling out 'please help me! Please help me!'

The suspect then appears to drag the woman back to a white pickup truck before joining the traffic and driving off into the night.

Police say the woman was at the residence around 22:45pm on Sunday, April 21, when the horror unfolded.

They say the video appears to show the woman 'crying for help before she was picked up and carried away by the above pictured male'.

Hillsboro police are actively investigating the events as a 'possible kidnapping incident' and urge those who might be able to help identify the people in the video to get in touch.

The residents of the home with the doorbell camera told KGW News they were 'traumatized'.

Marisol, who did not share her full name, told the outlet she did not recognize either person in the video and contacted 911 right away after receiving a video alert.

Marisol said she has not stopped thinking about the woman's scream and described the horror she witnessed. 

'The way she grabs on to the door on the video, if you see it, that is not normal.'

'I just want her to be found. I just want to know that she's safe,' she said.

Police did not share any identifying features of either party in the grainy black and white video.

The woman can be seen wearing glasses. She has long hair and a light colored outfit.

In a video still, the suspect appears to have a short beard and short dark hair.

He is wearing a light top and dark pants.

An amber alert remains in Oregon following the separate disappearance of Roman Huizar, who disappeared on April 21 from West Richland, WA.

The West Richland Police department issued the alert believing one-year-old Roman was abducted by Elias Huizar, 39, on Monday night.

Huizar is also suspected of fatally shooting his ex-wife outside an elementary school in West Richland.
