Melania Trump shares adorable baby photo of son Barron in video about motherhood's 'profound impact'

Melania Trump delivered her latest sales pitch for her memoir, this time focusing on her son Barron.

The former first lady posted a video extolling the virtues of motherhood.

'The challenges and rewards of motherhood, from sleepless nights to joyful milestones bring immense fulfilment, which only a mother understands. The lessons I have learned from this experience are profound, and they have shaped me in ways I could never have imagined,' she said.

Barron Trump is her only son. The 18-year-old is a student at New York University's Stern School of Business.

It's the third video Melania Trump has posted to her social media accounts ahead of her memoir's launch on October 1. It's been an unusual marketing strategy to get people to pre-order her book.

The first one focused on herself, where she  teased it is time to give her perspective: 'the truth.' The second focused on her husband Donald Trump, where she questioned law enforcement's role in the assassination attempt on her husband. This video focuses on her son.

The 30-second video features her speaking directly to camera and shows photos of Barron as a baby. She wears the same houndstooth Dior suit as she wore in her first video.

It's an unusual move by Melania Trump, who was fiercely protective of Barron when Donald Trump was president.

But the 18-year-old graduated from high school in May and is now a college freshman. 

In the two photos she shared in the video, Barron is a baby in one and young child in the second. 

Melania Trump has been coy about what is exactly in her memoir but her teases have indicated she'll speak about her time in the White House and her family. 

She released her first video tease earlier this month. That video featured scenes from her time in the White House, including her trip to Africa and working on her Be Best campaign.

There were also some photos from her modeling days and as a young mother with her son Barron. Donald Trump was shown.

Her second video was released on Tuesday, the day of Donald Trump's debate with Kamala Harris. Melania Trump did not attend the debate.

In the video, she demanded answers about the July 13 shooting attempt on her husband and hinted at a conspiracy by saying there's 'more to the story' and 'we need to uncover the truth.'

'The attempt to end my husband's life was a horrible, distressing experience,' she said in the 10 second video posted to her social media accounts.

'Now the silence around it feels heavy. I can't help but wonder why didn't law enforcement officials arrest shooter before the speech. There is definitely more to this story. And we need to uncover the truth,' she added. 

Her book, simply titled 'Melania,' will be released on October 1st.  It is available for pre-order on Amazon for $30. 

She is selling two editions: a $150 collector's edition featuring 256 pages in full color throughout, with each copy signed by the author. The memoir edition will be 304 pages and available for $40 with signed copies available for $75. 

The former first lady has been the subject of many biographies and books but this is the first time she is telling her story.

It is unclear if she worked with a co-author and if she will go on a book tour. 

After the Trumps left the White House in January 2021, Melania Trump maintained her low profile.

She has not been heavily involved in her husband's 2024 campaign for the White House. 

She appeared at his campaign announcement and at the Republican National Convention, where, unlike other spouses of candidates, she opted not to address the delegates.

She has yet to appear at a campaign rally. 

She also didn't attend either presidential debate and has been careful to distance herself from her husband's legal troubles. 

She did host two fundraisers for Log Cabin Republicans, a conservative LGBTQ group.
