A viral video captured the moment a runaway horse attacked a pedestrian on a street in Jaragua, a town in the southeastern state of São Paulo.

The footage, which was filmed last Thursday, showed the man walking down the sidewalk while the horse was eating and turned around and lunged at him.

The pedestrian smacked the animal in an attempt to shoo it away.

However, the man was backed into a wall with nowhere to escape and was kicked four times.
