A police officer has shot and killed an individual a mile away from the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee.
The cop from Columbus, Ohio, was in the city to help with the beefed-up security for the event after the assassination attempt on Donald Trump on Saturday.
The shooting occurred near North 14th and West Vliet Streets outside of the security perimeter, The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported.
