Taylor Swift is pretty in a flirty plaid miniskirt and matching coat as she steps out in NYC - and leaves boyfriend Travis Kelce behind in Kansas City

Taylor Swift looked effortlessly stylish on Tuesday night as she stepped out in New York City — leaving boyfriend Travis Kelce behind in Missouri.

The singer, 33, rocked a high-waisted plaid miniskirt with a matching coat the flowed to her ankles.

She paired her winter worthy set with a low-cut black bodysuit and semi-sheer tights.

Swift gave her already statuesque frame a boost by slipping in to a pair of classic black heels. 

Sporting her signature red lip and winged eyeliner, the Anti-Hero hitmaker was the picture of classic glamour.

Clearly in the holiday spirit, Swift had metallic red nails on one hand and green on the other. 

Her dirty blonde hair flowed down her back and chest in wavy strands while her fringe was pushed to one side.

Carrying a brown leather purse over her shoulder, Swift looked ready to take on the Big Apple.

The multi-Grammy Award-winner was flanked by security.

Though she was pictured on solo, Swift typically meets up with her A-list pals, including Blake Lively and Sophie Turner.

She's frequently spotted at hotspots in the city, including the Via Carota restaurant in the West Village and the members-only club Zero Bond in NoHo.

Swift flew into New York City on her private jet from Kansas City, Missouri, where she'll be hunkered down for the next two months with Kelce.

DailyMail.com spotted her boarding her plane under the cover of umbrellas Tuesday morning – on Travis's day off – after spending the previous week with him. 

The NFL star, 34, has been dating the pop superstar since late September — months after he failed to give her his phone number.

While Swift's sudden dash home appears to come out of the blue, the star has been nominated for TIME Magazine's Person of the Year – with the winner to be announced on Wednesday morning. 

Some fans speculated that the multi-Grammy award winner had to be in New York to film for the Today Show, which announced the finalists on Monday.

Swift, who hadn't been back to her luxury penthouse apartment since finishing the South American leg of her Eras Tour, is battling it out against the likes of Barbie, Vladimir Putin and King Charles III.

But she returned there Tuesday afternoon following her flight. Within an hour she went to the Dogpound gym a few blocks away to work out.

She flew straight from Sao Paolo to Kansas City to be with Travis, before jetting to London and back in 24 hours to appear at Beyonce's Renaissance movie premiere.

It is unclear if Swift will be returning to Kansas City before her 34th birthday on December 13, or if the Chiefs tight end will join her in New York for celebrations.
