The View host Joy Behar takes brutal swipe at Donald Trump as Sunny Hostin claims former President is 'scared' to take on Kamala Harris

Joy Behar took another brutal swipe at Donald Trump during Wednesday's episode of The View as she and the rest of the panel discussed a potential debate between the former President and Kamala Harris

Admitting that she 'loved' Harris' rally in Atlanta, Georgia, on Tuesday, Sunny Hostin claimed the current Vice President had 'flipped the script' and would 'wipe the floor' with Trump, 78, if they did come face-to-face on live television.

'He has indicated that he may or may not debate her, but if he does, it has to be on Fox News. I think he's shooketh, I think he's scared,' Sunny, 55, argued.

'I think she will wipe the floor with him. I think she will be a savage debater. I think she is well trained, she's prepared, she's presidential, and I think he's scared,' the mother-of-two added.

Joy, 81, agreed and said: 'Well, I would go along with that. He keeps backtracking on a lot of things, things are starting to look bad for him. Let's remember that Joe Biden debated Trump basically because his numbers were soft. That's the real reason.

Joy Behar couldn't resist making another dig at Donald Trump during Wednesday's episode of The View

Joy said that Trump, pictured here on July 24, has numbers 'softer than his mid-section'

Taking aim at the Republican, she then joked: 'And Trump thinks that he doesn't have to do it but his numbers are softer than his mid-section at this point!' as the live studio audience burst out laughing.

While Sara Haines had a smug grin on her face, moderator Whoopi Goldberg turned to Joy and said: 'I think you handled yourself very well, because I know where you could have gone but you didn't go!'

Comedian Joy fired back: 'I already did the Stormy material last week!' referring to an X-rated comment she made about Trump's manhood live on air on July 25.

The mother-of-one then went on to claim that Harris was beating Trump 'by 11 points in Michigan' and said he's going to take part in a debate because 'he's gonna have to do it.'

Sara, 46, then spoke up and said: 'I don't think he can resist the idea that a woman would show up and beat him. So, even though he's in a scramble and his campaign is, trying to get into Donald Trump's head - which I would not recommend - but, I think he's probably blaming his campaign.'

'He's probably saying, "What are you guys doing wrong that you're missing the boat?" That would be the time where he's held to account by her, and this isn't just a woman, it's a black and brown woman and I think that will kill him. So he will absolutely not be able to say no because he'll look weak,' she added.

Joy wasn't quite done with her digs yet, and decided to poke fun at the presidential candidate again as she said: 'I'd like to speak to Donald.... "I'd like to give you some words of encouragement. I think you'll do very well because you're used to standing next to a prosecutor. Don't worry about it, it's something you know how to do."'

Sunny burst out laughing as the live studio audience applauded Joy's comment, before Sara said of Harris: 'Have you seen how fast everything that happened she and her campaign are responding before it ever like hits the airwaves.'

The panel have made no secret of the fact that they will be voting for Harris come November as Whoopi told viewers on Wednesday: 'This is up to us, if we want to win this, we have to get out and work our behinds.'

Earlier this month, the 68-year-old actor attacked Kai Trump's rousing Republican National Convention speech about her grandfather, Donald, and urged voters 'not to fall for it.'

Trump's 17-year-old granddaughter took to the stage on July 17, and told viewers he was 'just a normal grandpa.'

However, Whoopi called out the teen's stirring speech; arguing it was a trick to 'humanize' Trump - particularly after the assassination attempt.
