Kristin Juszczyk has admitted she suffered with 'imposter syndrome' last season after her custom NFL clothing designs started to make a splash.

Juszczyk, the wife of San Francisco 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk, has been on a wild ride ever since Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes wore custom-made jackets to a Kansas City Chiefs game.

Travis Kelce's popstar girlfriend and the wife of Patrick Mahomes wore personalized puffer jackets when the Chiefs defeated the Miami Dolphins at Arrowhead Stadium in the Wild Card round.

Before Swift propelled her clothes to a new level of attention, the 30-year-old built a following online by repurposing jerseys into more high-fashion pieces - corsets, suits, skirts - for herself as she attended 49ers games to support her husband.

Juszczyk's designs have since spread to other players' partners and supporters across the league, including Simone Biles and Taylor Lautner. She has also signed a licensing deal with the NFL.

But the success did not come without obstacles and Juszczyk, who now has over a million followers on Instagram, has revealed she suffered with imposter syndrome as her work began to take off.

Speaking on a recent Q+A on Instagram, she said: 'It's hard sometimes not to have imposter syndrome when you start to have success.

'So I struggle with that but I'm trying to just keep my head down and focus on my main goal which is to get this line off the ground.

'I keep pinching myself to make sure I'm awake. All I've ever wanted was to be a entrepreneur and to start my own line.'

She also shared a picture of her lock screen on her phone, which featured a number of her designs and pictures with her husband.

However, some of it had been covered up because they were pictures of designs that are 'hopefully coming soon'.

Juszczyk was in New York City on Wednesday and even posted a picture of herself at the NFL's offices, possibly teasing a new collaboration ahead of next season.

'She single-handedly catapulted my career,' Juszczyk has said of Swift's influence on her brand. 'I've been at this for years. When I saw her walk out in that jacket, it just like, brought me to tears.'

With her official NFL license in hand, Juszczyk designed puffer vests for Super Bowl LVIII, sported by celebrities. One such vest sold for $75k with proceeds going to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, according to The Associated Press.

Juszczyk herself wore a jacket stitched from jerseys, an ode to her husband's football career, for the game won by Kelce and the Chiefs in Las Vegas.

Juszczyk, so far, has designed custom apparel for Iowa Hawkeyes point guard Caitlin Clark, Niners wideouts Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk, actor Lautner and Olympic gymnast Biles, who’s married to Packers safety Jonathan Owens.

She has also made the move into NBA fandom gear and has designed a custom Golden State Warriors jacket for Steph Curry's wife Ayesha.
