Aaron Rodgers clearly doesn't care about the NFL's anti-tampering policy as he was caught saying that he 'can't wait to play' with Davante Adams 'again' at a golf course in Lake Tahoe.

The Jets quarterback claimed that he'll reunite with the Raiders wideout, with who he played with for six seasons on the Packers, while answering questions on a stroll at the American Century Championship on Thursday.

'What's up?' Rodgers said at first while looking down at his phone.

'Do you think Luke Getsy is going to utilize Davante Adams good in the new Raiders offense?' the reporter asked.

'I love Luke Gretsy, he's a fantastic coach,' Rodgers replied. 'I love Davante. I can't wait to play with him... again.'

Aaron Rodgers was nonchalant when he said he 'can't wait to play with Davante Adams... again'

The former Packers duo played together in Green Bay for six seasons before parting ways

Some NFL fans on X were outraged by the viral footage as one of the most liked comments under the post read: 'This is tampering.'

Another person wrote: 'Rodgers trying to cost the Jets a draft pick for tampering.'

'He is just stirring the pot,' someone else pointed out while others suggested that Rodgers may have well been referring to playing a round a golf with Adams soon.

A day earlier, on Wednesday, Adams suggested that Rodgers and him were currently in touch and discussing plans for the 2024-25 NFL season.

'He's in that ear that's for sure,' Adams revealed, referring to Rodgers, 40. 'He's in the ear... but it's not easy...

'Obviously we can get together and talk about the old times and the potential of doing this or that. But, like I said I'm a Raider so... he knows that so... maybe the next [year].'

Adams, who is entering the third season of a five-year, $140million contract with the Raiders, won't be a free agent until the 2027 NFL season, when Rodgers will be 42.

It remains unknown if the veteran signal-caller will play on that long.

But, the NFL's anti-tampering policy states that teams aren't allowed to approach a player under contract with another team without engaging with that team first. So, any potential trade for Adams will require teams to talk to the Raiders first, including Rodgers' jets.
