An inspiring cat that was forced to have two legs amputated is now the owner of a new prosthetic.
The feline, appropriately named T-Rex, received the new limbs from a California engineer and builder that wished to remain anonymous.
According to Wavy.com, staff members at the Al-Van Humane Society in Michigan have been nursing T-Rex back to health for more than two weeks.
The blue, custom-made prosthetic was created to replace both of T-Rex's front legs that were amputated after he was found in Covert Township, Michigan.
Animal lovers have been checking in with the humane society to see how T-Rex is doing.
'We’ve had a lot of people just call and check up on him see how he’s doing,' said the shelter's intake coordinator Madison Steffens.
'A lot of people have donated towards his care, which is amazing, and even to our emergency medical fund which helps animals like him.'

According to Al-Van Humane Society's intake coordinator Madison Steffens, several animal lovers have reached out wondering if T-Rex is okay
The mission to get T-Rex his new wheels began after the director of Big Lake Humane Society in Muskegon heard about the rescued cat's story.
The director then reached out to the public to find someone who could help with the feline's mobility, and later connected with the Californian builder through TikTok.
'They offered to make prosthetics for T-Rex, so they made him a little wheeler cart,' said Al-Van's lead kennel attendant, Jessica Forrest.
'We had to do specific measurements. It was pretty cool.'
The staff at Al-Van Humane Society was shocked to receive the new wheels in less than a week.
'He just did it out of the kindness of his heart. That’s what he does,' said Forrest.

The builder finished the prosthetic and shipped it to the shelter in less than a week. He insisted that he did not want any credit on the build
According to Forrest, the builder was not looking to receive any credit for what he built for T-Rex.
'We wanted to make a Facebook post and tell everybody, "Hey, this is who made them," and he’s like, ‘No, I don’t need recognition,'" Forrest stated.
Now, everyone at the humane society is focusing on teaching T-Rex how to use his new prosthetic.
'He was walking on his stubs at first, so now if we have a wheel cart and we get him used to it, he can go right back to being as mobile as he was before,' Forrest said.
Despite helping T-Rex get used to the wheel cart, the humane society understands that healing takes time.
'(He wears) his little sleeve to keep him from licking at (his surgery scars) and opening up any issue, because that’s not a good idea,' said Steffens.
Steffens added that the support the humane society has received has been 'incredible' and that they all know T-Rex deserves it.
