Alan Shearer made a swift exit from Match of The day this weekend to attend his daughter's birthday celebrations in Paris.
The Newcastle legend spoke briefly in his podcast The Rest Is Football alongside Gary Lineker and Micah Richards before setting off.
The trio discussed a range of topics from Tottenham's 1-1 draw against Man City to Man United's poor run of performances.
After talking about Newcastle's upcoming match against Sunderland in the FA Cup, Lineker says: 'I'll ask you one more thing before you head off for your daughter's birthday'.
Then at the end of Shearer's segment he adds: 'Thanks for joining us albeit briefly. Have a great day and make sure to say happy birthday from us to Hollie.'
