Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho caused an angry reaction from Galatasaray goalkeeper Fernando Muslera after celebrating opening the scoring in front of the home fans on Wednesday night.
Garnacho finished off a fine team move to give United the lead, and proceeded to stick his finger to his ear, seemingly calling for more noise from the home supporters in what was already a red-hot atmosphere.
Boos rained down from the stands, and after a few seconds Garnacho appeared to put up a hand to apologise to the irate Galatasaray fans.
But that was not enough for captain Muslera, who raced out of his goal to give Garnacho a piece of his mind.
While the TV cameras showed replays of the goal, commentator Darren Fletcher claimed Muslera 'ran 40 yards' to confront Garnacho, forcing other players to step in and try to calm down the situation.

The referee took Bruno Fernandes aside to speak to the United captain about Garnacho's celebration
As the players made their way back to the halfway line, the referee then pulled United captain Bruno Fernandes aside to seemingly warn him about Garnacho's behaviour.
Despite the angry confrontation, no players were booked on either side.
Garnacho's strike was his second goal in as many games after he netted a spectacular overhead kick in a 3-0 win against Everton on Sunday.
His goal against Galatasaray was not as eye-catching, but was still a fine finish from the Argentine star with his weaker foot after being played in by Fernandes.
Fernandes doubled United's lead shortly afterwards with a stunning long-range effort as the visitors made a blistering start in Istanbul.
But Galatasaray hit back through former Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech to give themselves hope of getting back into the game.
