Former All Black Byron Kelleher has reportedly been found guilty of domestic violence in a Paris court.
French media report that he has been handed a suspended six-month prison sentence for attacking his former partner after he returned to France to see their son.
According to AFP, Kelleher - who won 57 caps for his country, has been ordered to pay a fine of $1641 as well as $1276 to his victim.
The former scrum half denied the assault, but AFP's report of the trial said the court heard that Kelleher attacked the woman while under the influence of alcohol. She claimed he had dragged her through a corridor by her hair.

The former All Blacks scrum half has a long list of misdemeanours in France
Kelleher has a chequered past and was in 2017 found guilty of domestic violence after being accused of damaging the front door of his own property while drunk, before attacking his then partner.
His lawyer described the incident as a 'dispute of lovers' but the public prosecutor said the 'violence was not colossal, but strongly existed' as he handed him a $274 fine.
He landed himself in hot water in 2009 after being involved in a brawl following a drink-driving collision in Toulouse, while he was also taken into custody four years later in Bordeaux for drink-driving.
