Alvin Kamara has tried to make amends with the sideline worker he crashed into and injured last weekend, as he reportedly gifted the Saints chain crew member a signed ball and jersey.
Nick Piazza was standing on the sideline as the Saints faced the Lions, and suffered a dislocated knee and fractured fibula when Kamara collided with him after being pushed out of bounds.
But the running back has reached out to Piazza, who works as a teacher, by sending him the signed items with 'get well' wishes, according to NOLA.com.
'I really appreciate the messages, care packages and medical treatment,' Piazza told the outlet. 'And if you see Alvin, please tell him thanks. He signed a football and jersey for me. Very nice.'
According to the report, Piazza also received a received a text and email from Saints owner Gayle Benson, who also ordered takeout for his family.

Meanwhile, the Bears are also sending him a care package, and so too is referee Clay Martin's officiating crew.
Piazza will reportedly be out of work for eight weeks as a teacher, and won't be able to put pressure on his left (injured) leg for four to six weeks.
That means his 2023 season on the Saints' sideline is over.
Footage of the incident from last weekend showed Piazza's leg bending unnaturally while he screamed in pain on the ground.
Trainers raced over to attend to him and Piazza was soon loaded onto a stretcher and taken away for medical treatment.
