Andrew Tate, the controversial social media influencer who is awaiting trial in Romania on charges of human trafficking and rape, threw his support behind embattled boxer Ryan Garcia.
'Free my G,' Tate wrote on X Sunday, after the 25-year-old was arrested Saturday night for felony vandalism at the Waldorf Astoria hotel in Beverly Hills.
The boxer reportedly damaged more than $15,000 worth of property.
TMZ claimed that Garcia was 'seemingly under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs' at the time he was handcuffed by authorities.
Further reports emerged over the weekend suggesting he had been released from jail shortly thereafter, however he bizarrely started a 'Free Ryan' crusade on X.

He added, 'Prayer warriors - Please I need prayers - A lot of prayers - Prayers can move mountains - LORD JESUS SAVE ME.'
Garcia, who tested positive for PEDs following his upset victory over Devin Haney in April, also compared himself to Donald Trump and Britney Spears.
'Kinda funny both trump and I are in jail,' he said. 'I don’t know if he is in jail but I know he got convicted. This sucks, But I love Jesus I will be okay,' he wrote
In a separate post, Garcia went on, 'I feel like I’m Ryan Spears. Aka Britney Spears. This sucks. I never hurt anyone I’ve only ever loved everyone prayed for people. And try to make a change in this cruel world. I love you Christ Jesus Amen.'
Tate has also been dealing with his own legal woes while facing human trafficking charges

Garcia beat Haney earlier this year, however his erratic behavior in the buildup led many to question whether he was mentally stable enough to fight.
Meanwhile, Tate has been dealing with his own legal woes after he was arrested on human trafficking and rape charges.
The self-proclaimed misogynist, who was banned from multiple social media platforms for alleged hate speech, recently lost an appeal to have the Romanian court relax travel restrictions that prevent him from leaving the eastern European country.
The former professional kickboxer and dual British-US citizen was arrested in December 2022 in Bucharest along with his brother Tristan and two Romanian women.
They have all denied the allegations leveled against them.
