Andy Carroll returns to training with French side Amiens - days after the former England striker was 'embroiled in 1am street brawl in Mayfair and shouted "You f***ing want some?" at bystanders'

Andy Carroll was pictured back in training, just days after the former England international was reportedly embroiled in a 1am street brawl in Mayfair.

Carroll, 35, who plays for French second tier side Amiens, was seen shouting at bystanders in the early hours of Tuesday morning having clashed with an unknown individual.

A video published by The Sun showed Carroll with a ripped white shirt after the reported altercation outside the Sexy Fish restaurant.


Carroll had reportedly been dining in the Asian restaurant with his wife Billi Mucklow, a former TOWIE star and mother of his three children, before the clash.

And, on Thursday, the striker was seen back in pre-season training with his club side, who are based in northern France.

The 35-year-old posed for photos with his team-mates as he returned to pre-season training

The forward was alleged to have clashed with a man while leaving the Sexy Fish restaurant

A video in The Sun showed him shouting at bystanders in the early hours of Tuesday morning 

The 35-year-old was all smiles as he returned to their training base, while he also posed for photos with team-mates as he shared a series of snaps on his Instagram account with the caption: The boys are back in town!!'

Carroll scored four goals in 31 appearances last season for Amiens, who came eighth out of 20 teams in Ligue 2.

Meanwhile, in the aforementioned brawl, the former Liverpool and Newcastle forward was alleged to have clashed with a man while leaving the restaurant, which continued onto the street outside.

'Andy had been in the restaurant with Billi, it looked like they had been having a pleasant evening, knocking back the drinks and enjoying the Asian cuisine,' a witness told The Sun.

'But Andy had a row with a guy as they were preparing to leave. 

'It spilled onto the street and to everyone’s amazement he was rolling on the road with this guy. It all happened very quickly.'

The witness said that Carroll's white shirt had been ripped during the altercation.

The man Carroll had allegedly fought was said to have fled the scene as security staff attempted to intervene.

A video of the aftermath of the incident saw Carroll attempting to push away bystanders, who had tried to calm the footballer down.

Carroll was alleged to have shouted 'You f***ing want some', before he could be heard saying 'where is he?' to onlookers.

Amiens came eighth in the French second tier last season and are based in northern France

The former England international scored four goals in 28 league appearances for Amiens

Carroll penned a two-year deal with Amiens when signing from Reading last summer.

The 35-year-old had previously enjoyed top flight career in England after breaking through at his hometown club Newcastle.

Carroll also played for Liverpool and West Ham before returning to Newcastle in 2019.

He scored twice in nine appearances for England, netting for the Three Lions at Euro 2012 against Sweden.
