Angel Reese arrives in Phoenix for WNBA All-Star weekend after skipping opening event

Angel Reese's absence from the opening night of the WNBA All-Star weekend hasn't gone unnoticed despite the star rookie landing in Phoenix after attending an NBA Summer League game, a day earlier. 

On Friday, the 22-year-old forward posted a selfie on her Instagram Story with text reading 'All Star barbieee,' after touching down in Arizona. 

She also shared a snap of her No. 5 All-Star jersey with her name on it on a hanger. 

During the Rockets-Timberwolves matchup in Las Vegas on Thursday night, Reese hit back at a since-deleted tweet slamming her decision to snub the league for by responding: 'it's ok babe. i'm minding the business that PAYS me.'
