Angel Reese has put up yet another double-double performance, extending the WNBA record to 15 straight games, as she continues to put on a case for Rookie of The Year.

The 22-year-old forward finished with 10 points and 10 rebounds in the Chicago Sky's 91-76 loss to the New York Liberty on Thursday night in the Big Apple.

She got her 10th rebounds with just over two minutes left in the game, which drew a loud cheer from the crowd.

Reese's 10th point got the Sky (9-13) within 78-72 with 3:51 left.

Earlier this week, controversial NBA analyst Jason Whitlock accused the league's refs and players of corruption to boost Reese's image over Caitlin Clark's.

Angel Reese registered 10 points and 10 rebounds in the Sky's 91-76 loss to the Liberty, Thurs.

'The racial idolatry... do you see people bending over backwards - not on the Indiana Fever - to help Caitlin Clark?' he asked.

Meanwhile, Chennedy Carter led the Sky in scoring against the Liberty with 22 points on 10 of 21 attempts while Reese could only convert 5 of her 17 shots overall.

Chicago jumped to a 37-24 lead midway through the second quarter behind Carter before power forward Breanna Stewart got going to rally the Liberty to within 40-38 at halftime.

Stewart scored the first seven points of a 14-1 run to get New York back in the game.

The Liberty's star point guard Sabrina Ionescu had her first points of the game to cap the run and tie the game at 38. She had missed her first seven shots.

However, the 21-year-old forward struggled from the field, as she only made 5 of her 17 shots

Before the second quarter began New York honored many of its former players, including ring of honor members Kym Hampton and Sue Wicks.

The announcer saved Sky coach Teresa Weatherspoon for last and her former teammates went over and mobbed her after the ceremony ended.

Weatherspoon got a warm ovation from the crowd of 17,758, the largest in Liberty history at Barclays Center.

Both teams were playing the second game of a back-to-back. The Sky beat Atlanta in Chicago on Wednesday while New York won at Connecticut.

The two teams play again on Saturday in Chicago.
