Angel Reese scored a career-high 20 points during the Chicago Sky's 83-75 loss to the Connecticut Sun Wednesday night.

Although her team didn't come out on top, the WNBA rookie put on her best display yet, collecting 10 rebounds and 1 assist to earn player of the game.

It also marked her fourth straight game with a double-double, and she was 8 of 10 from the field to set another season high for makes.

Her teammates Kamilla Cardoso, Chennedy Carter and Marina Mabrey each put up 10 for the Sky, too.

'Angel Reese is in contention for Rookie of the Year,' one fan wrote on X.

'Sky lost but that was a great game from Angel Reese. Her best of the season,' another chimed in.

A third echoed the sentiment, 'Angel Reese is in contention for Rookie of the Year,' while a fourth fan wrote, 'Watching AR actively improve game after game this season has been so impressive!'

Earlier in the night, Reese stunned in a short black bodysuit with a scoop neckline.

She paired the skintight ensemble with crisp, white Chanel sneakers with black detailing, and a quilted black handbag from the French fashion house.

She accessorized with dark shades, a diamond necklace and a silver watch.

22-year-old Reese completed the sporty 'fit with a stack of three Van Cleef & Arpels bracelets.

It comes a couple of days after her head coach, Teresa Weatherspoon, said she believes Reese could play for the United States Olympic team alongside fellow rookie, Caitlin Clark, in the future.

She rocked a stunning pre-game fit, including a bodysuit and Chanel accessories

Caitlin Clark and Reese have developed and on-court rivalry in college and now in the WNBA

Clark and Reese were snubbed from the 12-player rosterfor this summer's Paris Olympics, with many criticizing the decision to leave the Clark in particular off the roster because of the interest she has brought to women's basketball over the last few years.

Both players were first-round WNBA Draft picks after a years-long rivalry throughout their college careers.

And per Weatherspoon, Reese is 'showing' why Clark is not the only star-studded rookie that could represent the United States in the Olympics when they are in Los Angeles in 2028 - and beyond.

'Does she have what it takes? She's showing it… She has what it takes. You're doggone right she has what it takes,' the coach said of Reese earlier this week.

For the Los Angeles Olympics, some spots could open up for the American roster, as five members of the team are 30 or older, including 42-year-old Diana Taurasi.
