Footage of LeBron James criticizing the Lakers' early struggles this season came out days behind their sour playoff exit after losing to the Denver Nuggets.
On the latest episode of James and JJ Redick's Mind the Game podcast, released on Wednesday, the pair discussed how three-point shooting drastically changed basketball.
During the program, James ripped on how the Lakers struggled to shoot the ball at the beginning of the season.
'We couldn't shoot,' James said. 'We always said the law of averages is going to even itself out. The first month-and-a-half, two months, we couldn't hit the side of a f***ing cow's a** from three point. We couldn't.'
Although their offensive woes were glaring in the first half of the season, the Lakers turned around and went 23-10 beyond the All-Star break.

Bryce James trolled Lakers coach Darvin Ham after his father's team fell out of the playoffs
After winning a play-in to secure a postseason berth, James and co fell to the defending champions for the second straight year. Despite avoiding a sweep and James putting up a 30-point and 11-assist double-double, the Lakers lost 108-106.
With much disappointment following their exit, James' son, Bryce, mocked Lakers coach Darvin Ham.
Ham, whom the Lakers hired in 2022, is on the verge of getting fired after losing to the Nuggets in the playoffs again.
An X user pointed out how the high school junior reposted a clip that trolled Ham on TikTok. The meme read 'The Nuggets are on a 15-0 run' and 'Darvin Ham:' with a picture of the cartoon character Arthur with hands in his pocket.
While James and the Lakers have begun their offseason, the Nuggets move along to face the Minnesota Timberwolves on their quest to repeat.
