Annastacia Palaszczuk has hired a high-profile celebrity publicist as she looks to cash in on her profile in a post-politics career.
The former Queensland premier is on the books with PR king Max Markson who has organised speaking tours for world leaders and international celebrities including Bill Clinton, Nelson Mandela and Mike Tyson.
'I am delighted to work with Max given his wealth of experience,' Ms Palaszczuk said.
Mr Markson will set up speaking engagements for Ms Palaszczuk across Australia and internationally, plus a possible book deal.

Ms Palaszczuk announced her shock resignation in December after eight years in the top job, claiming she felt like she had 'run a marathon'.
'I have no job come January. I will be finishing up as (an MP),' Ms Palaszczuk said at the time.
'I will be out there promoting Queensland in some form or capacity.'
Ms Palaszczuk's penchant for appearing at celebrity events and awards ceremonies led to her critics labelling her a 'part-time premier'.
Mr Markson, who starred on Celebrity Apprentice in 2011, said Ms Palaszczuk had joined his firm Markson Sparks for 'live speaking engagements across Australia and internationally'.

'I am honoured to be representing Annastacia Palaszczuk who has extraordinary, fascinating stories to tell,' Mr Markson said.
'Her political journey includes becoming the first woman to lead a seven-member opposition, before going on to become Queensland Premier and hosting the first majority female cabinet in Australia before going on to win three state elections.'
'Annastacia's leadership behind the scenes during the pandemic with Prime Ministers Scott Morrison and Anthony Albanese, was electric, not to mention the negotiations related to the 2032 Brisbane Olympic Games.'
Markson Sparks has raised millions of dollars for the Labor Party in the past.
