Anthony Joshua is in talks to face Daniel Dubois at Wembley Stadium on September 21.
Joshua had been hoping to face Deontay Wilder, but The Bronze Bomber lost to Zhilei Zhang in Saudi Arabia.
Dubois stopped Filip Hrgovic on cuts as he won the IBF 'interim' belt. That could potentially lead to him facing Joshua in what would be an intriguing all-British fight.
Joshua was in attendance in Riyadh for both fights and could now take on Hrgovic.
Frank Warren revealed that discussions are ongoing about a potential fight between Joshua and Dubois.

Frank Warren is eagerly anticipating the potential clash between Joshua and Dubois
'Daniel Dubois proved all his doubters wrong and won the IBF 'interim' belt,' Warren said on talkSPORT Breakfast.
'He hopefully will be fighting AJ in the autumn, we're working on that. He did well...
'We would love it to be in the UK, they're two Brits, it would be a great fight to put on at Wembley.'
Warren is hopeful that he will be able to get a deal over the line for Joshua to fight Wilder.
He said: 'We do have a press conference later on this month, hopefully then we can make some announcements.
'AJ was ringside and I was sitting next to him in fact. I said to him, 'Right, come on, let's get this on.'

Wilder suffered a defeat against Zhilei Zhang, which ruled out a potential meeting with Joshua
'We've got discussions going on so hopefully we can get it over the line.'
While Dubois currently holds the IBF 'interim' belt, it could be upgraded to become the full IBF heavyweight world title.
Oleksandr Usyk has requested to retain the belt for his rematch with Tyson Fury in December instead of going up against his mandatory challenger.
Joshua's last fight was in March when he was victorious against Francis Ngannou in Saudi Arabia.
