Antonio Brown is reportedly broke and owes creditors nearly $3 million after pocketing roughly $80 million in salary over a dozen NFL seasons.

The Albany Times Union is reporting that Brown is in debt to eight different creditor, according to a court filing. Furthermore, the 35-year-old Brown cannot afford three six-figure civil judgements against him, including a $1.2 million payout to a truck driver he's accused of assaulting in 2022.

Brown claims in the court filing that he has only $50,000 or less in assets.

He's also alluded to financial struggles in a series of social media posts, including one in which he admits 'I'm broke.'

Following the sudden end to his NFL career in 2021, when he abandoned the Tampa Bay Buccaneers sideline following an in-game argument with coaches, Brown bought Albany's National Arena League team in 2023 only to have the team booted from the circuit amid massive financial issues.

Brown spent the 2010 to 2018 seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers, where he emerged as one of the NFL's top threats, and twice led the league in yards receiving.

His career then took a downturn due to various on- and off-field controversies, included his contract being voided by the Oakland Raiders before the start of the 2019 season.

He split his final three NFL seasons with New England and Tampa Bay, and his career ended with Brown stripping off his jersey, pads and gloves, while walking off the field during the Buccaneers' 2021 regular season finale against the New York Jets. Brown announced his retirement a few months later.

The drama carried over into Brown's tenure in Albany. Players and suppliers complained about not getting paid, the Empire changed coaches three games into the season at the same time eight players were suspended after one player filed an aggravated harassment report with police over a dispute that occurred on the team bus, The Albany Times-Union reported in March of 2023.

More recently he's been accused of sexual harassment after a series of lewd social media posts about WNBA star Caitlin Clark.
