Argentina have mocked Drake after he bet against them ahead of their Copa America semi-final clash with Canada.

Drake earlier this week placed an extraordinary $300,000 (£234,195) wager on his nation to overcome Lionel Messi and Co.

If Canada succeeded, the rapper would have pocketed $2.8m (£2m), but it wasn't to be as the Reds suffered defeat.

Argentina booked their place in the final for a second consecutive Copa America thanks with a 2-0 win thanks to goals by Julian Alvarez and Messi.

And Argentina's X account was clearly aware of Drake's bet and decided to take aim at the artist.

Argentina beat Canada 2-0 on Wednesday to reach the final of Copa America once again

Drake had placed a $300,000 bet on Canada to beat Argentina in the semi-finals

Drake has been engaged in a beef with Kendrick Lamar, with many fans claiming the Canadian was defeated.

Following the victory against Canada, Argentina took to social media to make reference to Kendrick's iconic diss track 'Not Like Us''

They posted a photo of the team celebrating and used the caption "Not Like us, not with us."

Argentina's dig at Drake didn't stop on X as they also took to Instagram where they posted the same photo and used 'Not Like Us' as a sound.

The feud between Kendrick and Drake entered new territory in May when the former made some serious accusations on the track, which was released shortly after he dropped Meet The Grahams - another diss track.

In the song, Kendrick appears to accuse Drake, 37, of being a pedophile, along with another member of his crew - Drake quickly responded by releasing The Heart Part 6 where he rapped that he's 'never been with no one underage'.

The victory against Canada means Argentina have reached a third major final in as many years, having won Copa America in 2021 and the World Cup a year later.

They will face the winner of Colombia vs Uruguay in Sunday's showpiece in Miami, Florida.
