Arne Slot's first game in charge of Liverpool has been confirmed following the Dutchman's official unveiling as Reds boss.
Slot's appointment as Jurgen Klopp's replacement was confirmed over a month ago, but he had not been officially revealed until earlier this week, when he sat down with the club website for his first interview since taking charge.
He was eager to confirm, however, that he had started work speaking to other staff members and watching games long before he was snapped in Liverpool gear, and he will continue preparation ahead of the start of pre-season.
The Reds are set to play four pre-season games before their Premier League campaign gets underway, icluding a tour of the United States, where they will take on both Arsenal and Manchester United.
The final game of the four, meanwhile, was confirmed on Friday, and is due to take place at Anfield on August 11, a week before the start of the Premier League campaign.

Slot's side will take on Sevilla at home in a 3pm kick off, which will be the 45-year-old's official bow as Reds boss.
It will be the end of the pre-season programme, which will start with a game against Real Betis, also in the States, on July 27.
Liverpool have priced tickets at £27 for adults, £20.25 for over 65s, £13.50 for young adults and £2 for juniors.
The last time the two clubs played was was a friendly in 2019, with Sevilla winning 2-1, while the last competitive match ended 3-3 in the Champions League group stage back in 2017, with the other game in the group also a draw.
'Now is a good moment to arrive here and talk to you,' Slot, who wanted to hold off any media duties to respect Klopp's farewell eventsm, said on Wednesday. 'But let's be clear, I don't start today, I've been in a lot of contact with staff members already.
'From people who are working here to the new staff members that are coming in – and, of course, almost every day Richard and I are calling each other because we have to talk. This is also a very important phase for the new season, to make sure the team is ready.'

Slot also admitted that he would be taking an number of ideas from Klopp as he prepares to step into the German's shoes following a nine-year stint in charge.
'I am wearing the new jersey and, of course, there is change but a lot of things are still the same as well,' he said. 'I think the players are still the same, which is probably the most important thing.
'We are going to try to work on what Jurgen left behind and we will see a lot of similar things. But, of course, I bring my own things to the table as well and I think that's also what is expected of me.'
