Forget sex - Aussie athletes will be flat out just getting any sleep if one star's reaction video is anything to go by after she tested out the cardboard beds competitors have been issued for the Paris Olympics.
The International Olympic Committee first cracked down on intimacy in the Athletes Village at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021.
Despite apparently lifting that ban, they have issued the athletes with single beds made from flimsy materials in Paris in what's been interpreted as an effort to prevent extracurricular activities of a sexual nature.
Paris organisers will supply athletes with 300,000 condoms, but Olympic and Paralympic village director Laurent Michaud previously confirmed they will have to sleep in the same small beds that were used in Tokyo.
The single beds, produced by Airwave, feature cardboard frames as part of the organisers' sustainability efforts.
Despite this, Michaud expressed his hope that athletes will 'feel very enthusiastic and comfortable' in the village.
Aussie water polo player Tilly Kearns is in Paris and has delivered her verdict on the tiny beds, along with her teammate Gabi Palm.
'Already had a massage to undo the damage,' Kearns posted.
In the video, she opens the video by saying: 'Night one on the cardboard beds'.
'My back is about to fall off,' Palm can be heard saying in the background.
'It's actually rock solid. You can kind of move it, apparently there is a softer side,' Kearns says as she tries to adjust the bed, revealing that the mattresses can be flipped over to change the feel of the bed.
'That was the soft side,' she then said, sounding disappointed.

Plenty of Aussie supporters shared the athletes' views that the beds were substandard.
'Is this the Olympic Games or the Hunger Games… seriously how do they expect elite athletes to achieve peak performance while sleeping on beds worse than you'd find in a backpackers,' one asked.
'How tf are they making athletes sleep on what resembles cheap Bunnings outdoor furniture that's actually made out of cardboard and styrofoam?' questioned another.
The water polo stars were not the only athlete to test out the beds on arrival in Paris.
Tennis players Daria Saville and Ellen Perez also gave them a fair workout in a hilarious Instagram post.
'Testing out the cardboard beds at the Olympic Village,' Saville posted.

They even tested how the beds would hold up to a full racquet-smashing tantrum
Their video started with Saville doing a cannonball before the Aussies went to town on the bed.
They alternated doing a series of activities including running on it, using resistance bands, the 1980s dance move 'The Worm', squat jumps, step ups, volley practice and even racquet smashing as they cackled with laughter.
Their antics had Aussie supporters in stitches as well.
'Stop the Olympics now, the highlight has been reached,' one posted.
Another follower added, 'You are so funny. Wish you all the best for the Olympics.'
'Well it was designed to be an anti sex bed so ...' a third posted with a laughing emoji.
