All Elite Wrestling's footage of the backstage fight at 'All In: London' showed CM Punk initiating the incident by walking up to Jack Perry, shoving him, putting him in a chokehold and throwing a punch steps away from the Wembley Stadium crowd.

The footage of the incident aired live on AEW's flagship weekly television show, 'Dynamite', a little over a week after Punk, who has since signed with WWE, trashed the company during a two-hour interview with journalist Ariel Helwani.

The footage directly contradicts a few things Punk told Helwani and implied as facts.

AEW's footage from last August lasted barely over a minute, but did not show the reported incident company CEO Tony Khan allegedly refers to when he 'feared for his life', leading to Punk's firing weeks later.

Punk allegedly shoved Khan against television monitors in the AEW production area later in the evening.

Punk worked for AEW for two years before the backstage incident and now works for WWE

Punk approached Perry in London before his match with Samoa Joe in front of 80,000 people

Punk is seen violently reaching for someone off camera before walking out of view to end the footage. Perry does not throw a punch during the incident.

'All In: London' is viewed as the company's biggest show on all time with over 80,000 people in attendance at Wembley Stadium.

Perry defeated HOOK on the pre-show, while Punk defeated Samoa Joe in his final AEW match.

Both Punk and Perry were originally suspended for the incident, and neither have wrestled for the company after that day.

Punk initiated the fight by choking Perry before throwing the only punch during the incident

Punk was fired 'with cause' within a few weeks. He returned to WWE at 'Survivor Series' last November.

Perry has showed up with New Japan Pro Wrestling with new nickname, 'The Scapegoat'. NJPW has ran co-branded events with AEW in the past.

Punk told Helwani that Perry stepped him and started the fight, with neither occurring in the footage.

Punk also references he had 'people with him', but the footage shows him approaching Perry alone.

Some of the people to separate Perry and Punk include Joe, the current AEW World Champion, Chris Hero, and Jerry Lynn.

Most of the online discourse surrounding showing the real footage is whether it was only a ratings ploy for AEW. The company did show a former employee, Punk, that now is prominently featured for WWE.
