Barcelona are interested in signing Manchester United and England star Ella Toone this summer.
Toone, who is United’s all-time leading goalscorer and record appearance holder, has caught the eye of the Catalans - who already have a number of English players in their ranks.
Mail Sport understands that no formal approach has been made yet, but Barca are weighing up making a move for the forward at the end of the season.
Toone, 24, is under contract until 2026 meaning Barca would need to pay a significant fee to prize her away from United.
Barca will also need to consider whether they can make the move work given they are set to renew Alexia Putellas’ contract and are in the process of negotiating with England defender Lucy Bronze over a new deal.

Spain forward Mariona is out of contract this summer and is expected to leave the club, which could open the door for potential new signings in the forward area.
Toone scored a superb strike at Wembley to help United win the FA Cup last weekend and has already amassed a huge amount of experience.
Toone was part of the England team that won Euro 2022 and was also part of the Lionesses squad that reached the World Cup final last summer. The forward has 48 caps for her country and 19 goals - which includes strikes in the quarter-final and final of the Euros, the Finalissma and the semi-final of the World Cup.
Along with Bronze, Barca also have England midfielder Keira Walsh and are set to sign Manchester City goalkeeper Ellie Roebuck on a free transfer this summer.
