Pregnant former Hi-5 star Lauren Brant has revealed how she got through watching her AFL legend husband Barry Hall get shockingly knocked out in a boxing match on Wednesday night.
Hall, 47, proved no match for 26-year-old former NRL bad boy Curtis Scott, who floored the former Swans star with a wicked left hook in the opening stages of the bout.
The brave footy veteran fought on but was conclusively beaten with 90 seconds remaining of the first round as the referee waved the contest off.
Brant, who is expecting the arrival of her fourth child, was watching on at home in Queensland and has spoken about how she is coping.
'I'm so happy that the sun is finally out because it's been a whole week of rain,' she said in a social media post.
'Also, the last four nights have been really tricky because Barry has been away and I'm like 39 plus something days - according to my due date I should be having baby in two days.
'So, yes, I've been having chats to bubby saying "please stay inside until Daddy gets back."
'But we are going to the airport to pick up Barry and the boys and I are so excited.

'The only way I coped is because my beautiful mum stayed with me and I had the support of my dad and some very special friends of Barry and I's who kept checking in.
'So, yes, sun's out, Barry's home and I'm sure not long until we meet this little cherub.'
The couple are already proud parents to three sons, Miller, Houston, and Samson.
In June 2021, the couple confirmed they secretly married that February and were expecting their third child during an emotional interview on A Current Affair.
They took to Instagram last February to share their euphoria at reaching their two-year anniversary.
Lauren posted a sweet picture of herself with husband Barry holding up their marriage certificate.
'Two years, the most romantic elopement fuelled by LOVE and LIFE. Words can't describe. I love you Barry,' her post read.

The couple secretly tied the knot in February 2021 so that her terminally ill sister-in-law Sandra could attend the wedding. Sandra was married to Lauren's brother.
She tragically died just two weeks later, after her second battle with stage-four bowel cancer.
