A supposedly wilting Belgium side beat noisy upstarts Romania 2-0 to silence their naysayers and get their Euro 2024 campaign back on track.
It took all of 72 seconds for Youri Tielemans to fire the Belgians ahead and infuse a nation with renewed optimism.
Romelu Lukaku was unfortunate to have a goal ruled out for a third time at Euro 2024 by VAR in the second half.
But skipper Kevin De Bruyne stepped up with a late goal to seal the goods.
The result pushes Belgium top of their group while Romania are second, but with Slovakia and Ukraine also on three points, all is left to play for.
