Aussie parents are being urged to check their baby's room after an urgent recall was issued for a wooden toy could be a choking risk.

Product Safety Australia warned the Bell Shaker toy, by Romper & Co, contains a bell inside that could come loose.

'The wooden frame can break which can dislodge the bell inside,' it warned.
