Not only has Bill Belichick ended his decades-long feud with the media, but he six-time Super Bowl-winning head coach has completely defected to the other side.

Following his exit in New England after 24 seasons with the Patriots, Belichick has lined up four media gigs, including a role with Underdog Fantasy, which he announced on Wednesday.

'I partner with Underdog because Underdog is a sports company run by sports people,' Belichick said in the minute-long intro video promoting the website.

'They want sports to connect to the fans and that's what I want to do. I want to find a connection to the fans what they've asked me for in terms of content — behind-the-scenes information, decision making that goes on within the organization and a breakdown of schematics and personnel within the game. Bring all this real football conversations and decisions to the fans.

'Underdog wants to do that, I want to do that, so it was a great fit. Really looking forward to the opportunity to work with Underdog and their producers. They've given me the opportunity to give the fans what they want, and that's my goal.'

Belichick and Jordon Hudson have caused controversy due to the age gap in their relationship

Belichick already has a weekly gig lined up on ESPN's Pat McAfee Show, as well as appearances on the Monday Night Football 'ManningCast' and spots with Inside The NFL on the CW Network.

It remains unclear if Belichick will turn these into long-time roles or if he will try to return to coaching in 2025 as he looks to surpass Don Shula on the NFL's all-time wins list.

Belichick reportedly declined an assistant position with the San Francisco 49ers.

'I did, I threw it out to him,' 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan said on the TK Show podcast with The Athletic's Tim Kawakami. 'He loves football so much that you never know what he ... I can't believe he's not a head coach of a team right now. I know what I would do if I was an owner so that shocks me and the last thing you want to do is insult someone like Bill Belichick.

'But I know he just loves ball in its simplest form, so I threw it all out to him, whatever he wanted to do, [including defensive coordinator]. I was like 'Would you be interested?' And he was very nice and appreciative and he politely turned me down.'

The revelation comes after NFL Network's Tom Pelissero said that Belichick was still 'fully invested' in coaching next season.

Shanahan, who eventually replaced defensive coordinator Steve Wilks with Nick Sorensen after the team's Super Bowl loss, echoed that sentiment as well.

'I'm sure he's going to be back in the league next year, and I could be going against him,' he said.

'He could be in the NFC West. It would have sucked if he came here, and then he was going against us, so that's the stuff you have to be careful about. But he's the best, and I just like talking to him.'

While Belichick seems intent on a return to the NFL, an insider previously told the US Sun that his 23-year-old girlfriend Jordon Hudson is making him 'realize that there is more in life than just football.'

The insider also claimed that Belichick is 'living his best life' as he prepares for a rare NFL season away from the sidelines.
