One of Australia's largest healthcare companies has recalled a popular supplement after it was found to deliver incorrect doses.
The Therapeutic Goods Administration announced the recall of two 50mL batches of FIT-BioCeuticals' Zinc Drops on Tuesday.
The TGA warned the zinc can separate from the rest of the vanilla-flavoured liquid liquid over time, leading to an inconsistent dosage.
The medications watchdog urged users to check for the affected batch numbers 004766 or 004807 printed under the directions for use.
Those with affected products have been told to not take the supplement as it could cause severe health issues.

'If you are taking BioCeuticals Zinc Drops from the affected batches and you experience nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, diarrhoea or headache you should seek immediate medical attention,' the recall alert reads.
The TGA alert also urges customers to 'return the product to the place of purchase for a refund'.
In moderation, zinc can promote cell growth and division, create DNA and proteins and boost immune systems.
However if a large dose of the mineral is taken in a short period of time Zinc toxicity can take effect, causing symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, diarrhoea or headache.
Those presenting symptoms of zinc toxicity have been urged to urgently seek medical attention as severe health issues can occur if zinc toxicity is left untreated.
