Bizarre moment Florida fugitive Stacy Usher, who was wanted for selling fentanyl, is found hiding in a COUCH

She tried, but couldn't hide. 

A Florida fugitive was found hiding inside a couch by police after spending weeks on the run for a probation violation.

Stacy Usher, 39, racked up at least 30 criminal charges and arrests over the years - which led her to be put on probation. 

Her most recent charges related to the sale of fentanyl - a felony - which she was arrested for in October 2022.

Deputies have been searching for Usher since early November after she allegedly broke probation for the sale of fentanyl as well as unlawfully using a communication device.

Usher was found on Tuesday night - completely disguised as she hid inside a sofa, the Citrus County Sheriff's Office reported. 

After losing the high-stakes game of hide and seek - deputies pulled Usher out from under the couch cushions and she was taken into custody.

A bizarre picture shows the moment Usher was found - sandwiched tightly beneath the couch cushions.

She wore a messy bun and what appeared to be a white T-shirt and jeans for her hiding stint.

It's unclear how long the Florida fugitive had spent in the tight space.

The 39-year-old also appeared to be clutching a mysterious black device when police found her. It's unclear where the couch was located - or it was Usher's own couch that she was nestled within. 

Before being discovered in her creative hiding spot - the Citrus County Sheriff's Office had made Usher its 'Warrant of the Week' on its social media pages. 

Along with the sale of fentanyl - Usher has a variety of other charges dating to 2012.

The charges ranged from traffic violations to obtaining property in return for a worthless check, which she has faced 13 first-degree misdemeanors.
