Patrick Beverley refused to answer questions from a reporter after the Milwaukee Bucks' elimination from the NBA playoffs because she didn't subscribe to his podcast - just after he angrily threw a ball at fans twice.

The Bucks' season came to an end on Thursday night when the Indiana Pacers booked their spot in the next round with a 120-98 Game Six win.

Beverley had a night to forget both on and off the court. As tensions boiled over on the Milwaukee bench with the clock counting down towards their impending doom, he launched the ball twice into the stands.

Then, after he returned to the locker room to complete his media duties, he stopped his response to one question to quiz ESPN reporter Malinda Adams stood next to him.

Beverley bizarrely asked her if she subscribed to his podcast. When she said no, he replied: 'You can't interview me then. No disrespect.'

As another reporter tried to ask Beverley a question, he told Adams to 'get that mic out of my face please.'

When Adams put it back towards him to get his answer, Beverley told her to 'get out of the circle please if you're not subscribed to my podcast. I appreciate it.'

He has been slammed by fellow reporters and fans on social media.

ESPN reporter and author Brian Windhorst wrote: 'Veteran producer Malinda Adams happens to be one of the most respected and professional people we have at ESPN.

'Bev, you’re going to have to make a couple apologies for stuff tonight.'

Another ESPN reporter, Stephen Holder, added: 'Plenty of time for podcasting now that he’s out of the playoffs. And he might have some extra free time in the form of a suspension after throwing that ball at a fan earlier in the night.

'Also, this is producer Malinda Adams, one of the most beloved people at ESPN. Not cool.'

Howard Chen, another colleague, added: 'Absolutely horrible treatment of one of the most respected veteran sports producers around.

'Malinda Adams is one of the best and also one of the best humans around. Does not deserve this type of disrespect, PBev. No one does.'

It was a night full of regret for Beverley after he shamefully threw the ball at fans twice, one of which struck a woman on the head.

The guard was captured launching a ball at Pacers fans multiple times during Game 6

The 35-year-old had to be held back by his teammates as things got heated on the bench

With under three minutes remaining of the Bucks' season-ending defeat, the guard's unsportsmanlike streak was captured on the TNT broadcast.

As Thanasis Antetokounmpo replaced Brook Lopez. Beverley threw a basketball at Indiana fans not once, but twice.

As Lopez high-fived his teammates, Beverley was seen chucking a ball towards the Pacers supporters sat behind the Bucks' bench, hitting a woman on the side of the head.

He then demanded the ball back from another fan, who kindly obliged but as soon as it was back in his hands, Beverley immediately launched it back him with a fair bit of force.
