Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola blamed the wind for his side's 2-1 defeat to Luton Town.
Iraola's team had taken the lead at Kenilworth Road through Marcus Tavernier in the 52nd minute.
However, Luton responded, with Jordan Clark equalising before Carlton Morris scored a last minute winner.
After the match Iraola had a bizarre excuse for the result as he suggested that the weather was a key factor.
Iraola said: 'It's a hard one. It's happened in the opposite way for us, we've won games in the last minute. We should have been more ruthless in the first half.
Andoni Iraola blamed the wind as his Bournemouth side were beaten by Luton Town
Bournemouth were left dejected as they conceded a late goal in their defeat to Luton
'The wind was key. It was in our favour in the first half. We had chances. The second half we couldn't play like that because of the wind. They pushed and in the end they won the game.
'It [wind] affected the game. It was very good for us in the first half and very bad in the second half. We were feeling comfortable but not realising [the difference of the] second half against the wind.'
Iraola isn't the only Premier League manager to have blamed the wind following a game, with Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp having done likewise in the past.
Then, in 2020 Klopp suggested that the wind hampered Liverpool in a 1-0 win against Norwich.
Bournemouth are in 12th place in the Premier League having taken 41 points from 31 games.
The Cherries' defeat to Luton brought their run of three consecutive league victories to an end.
