Vasiliy Lomachenko rolled back the years with a boxing masterclass against George Kambosos Jr on Sunday and fans have basked in the legend's resurgence.
The Ukrainian veteran, 36, beat the brakes off hometown star Kambosos Jr in emphatic fashion, going on to secure an 11th-round knockout victory with two punishing body blows.
Lomachenko's victory sets up the prospect of a mega-fight against undefeated star Gevonta Davis, and fans were left purring at the 36-year-old's display.
'Loma super sharp,' one fan wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter. 'George didn't win a single round.'
'Well deserved,' said another. 'Loma is a technical genius in boxing.'

A third fan paid tribute to the Australian: 'Good performance by Loma! Also, good sportsmanship displayed by Kambosos after a loss.'
'One of the easiest wins of Loma's career,' added a fourth fan. 'Dominated from start to finish.'
Hall of Fame boxing trainer Teddy Atlas said Kambosos was chasing shadows.
'Kambasos is shadow boxing,' he said. 'Only this time the shadow is hitting back. Loma is a ghost in there. But not a friendly one.'
The devastating nature of the Australian's defeat raises questions about where to next for the 30-year-old Kambosos.
'This guy is one of the best of all time,' Kambosos said after the bout.
'We tried our best, but he's a good champion. He deserves that belt. I gave it my all.
'I'm still alive, I'm still standing. I ain't dead.'
