Boy, two, is 'taken by a man and a woman' as cops issue urgent amber alert

Police are desperately appealing for help to locate a two-year-old boy who was kidnapped from a family member in broad daylight. 

he terrifying moment  happened on Little Street, in Coffs Harbour, on the NSW north coast just after 2.00pm on Friday. 

Officers have been told the boy, Jax Wilson, was taken by a man and a woman who are believed to be known to him. 

NSW police have since issued an Amber Alert, which means a major search has been issue to find an abducted child. 

After they took the child, the man and the woman then drove off in a black 1996 Volkswagen Sedan. 

The vehicle has Victorian registrates plates OAH 707.  

Jax is of Caucasian appearance and has blonde hair and blue eyes. He is around 70cm tall. 

The two-year-old boy was last seen wearing a coloured shirt and a pair of brown shorts.
