A 20-year old British woman was killed and her two passengers injured when her car veered out of control and crashed into a tree in Australia.
The tragedy occurred on the Princes Highway in Winnap, some 30 miles northwest of Portland in Victoria state, at around 3:20pm on Sunday, November 19.
The young driver sustained critical injuries and was airlifted to hospital, where she sadly died hours later.
Her two passengers, both 26-year-old men from the UK, also suffered injuries and were promptly transported to the hospital for medical attention.
One was reportedly in a serious but stable condition, while the other sustained minor wounds.
The circumstances leading to the accident are still under investigation, and authorities are appealing to the public for any information that may assist in determining the cause of the crash.

An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson told local news that paramedics were called to an incident in Winnap at 3.25pm.
'A woman in her 20s was airlifted to The Alfred Hospital in a critical condition with upper body injuries,' their statement read.
'A man in his 20s suffered lower body injuries and was airlifted to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
'Another man in his 20s with lower body injuries was taken by road ambulance to Mount Gambier Hospital in a stable condition.'
