Three people have been rushed to hospital following a bus crash that has closed a section of the Bruce Highway north of Gympie.
Police said the Brisbane-bound Greyhound bus was carrying around 20 people and travelling at 100km/h when it crashed into a barrier early on Monday morning.
A man in his 20s suffered leg injuries, a man in his 40s injured his arm, and a female in her 20s suffered chest pain. All three were taken to Gympie hospital in a stable condition.
The Bruce Highway will remain closed for a short time as a clean-up continues.
'Around 6am road closures are in place while emergency services clear the scene of the crash,' police said in a statement.
Police investigations into the crash continue.
