Bruce Lehrmann flees his wild party house after housemate hit out saying his presence had 'ruined his life'

7 months ago 45

Bruce Lehrmann has been kicked out of his new digs after his housemate complained that him moving in had 'ruined his life' and neighbours complained.

Paul Farrell offered Mr Lehrmann a place to stay when his year-long deal with Channel Seven for a $2,000-a-week property in Sydney's northern beaches ended.

Mr Farrell, 48, told Daily Mail Australia that he thought he was just 'helping out a mate' when he offered his spare room at his North Sydney rental to Mr Lehrmann.

'I'm renting this place and had a spare room ... but it's basically ruined my life with all the photographers and journalists hanging around.'

On Friday, a resident at Mr Lehrmann's new home - who declined to give his name - confirmed that the former political staffer was gone.

'He was told to vacate and he did so last night - that's all I know,' the man said. 'I don't know where he's staying now'.

Bruce Lehrmann moved into a mate's rental home in North Sydney recently - but the wild parties sparked a neighbourhood stink and he is now couchsurfing

The back of Mr Lehrmann's car was filled with his possessions on the street elsewhere in Sydney - including a pile of towels and food, such as Ritz crackers

Daily Mail Australia understands that Mr Lehrmann is now couchsurfing and last night shacked up at the home of a female Sydney socialite, elsewhere in the city.

Mr Lehrmann's car was spotted elsewhere in the city with all his worldly possessions in the back seat.

That included piles of towels, Woolworths freezer bags and Ritz crackers.

Neighbours told Daily Mail Australia this week how they were deeply frustrated with the parties that have occurred at the North Sydney home in the past three weeks.

On Thursday alone, a male friend of Mr Lehrmann's arrived with a box of alcohol and mates made two trips to the bottleshop.

Neighbours claimed Mr Lehrmann's companions had in recent weeks been 'shrieking' the lyrics to Tina Turner songs, swearing at all hours, and talking outside into the early hours of the morning.

'It's not loud music, it's mostly carry-on with the girls shrieking and screaming along to Tina Turner,' one neighbour said.

'They're constantly swearing, it's 'F-this' and 'F-that'.'

Another neighbour accused guests of parking on the footpath and across driveways, which they said 'is selfish for parents pushing prams'.

'It's quite intrusive because they already have a double car garage to park in,' they said.

On Thursday, a woman emerged from the property with no shoes on (pictured). She had been seen with Mr Lehrmann on Tuesday

Mr Lehrmann kicked off a week of partying on Tuesday evening when he was spotted in a burgundy blazer, flanked by two glammed-up women, outside the home - just moments after a new judgement date in his blockbuster defamation case was set.

The trio charged through the rain and jumped into the back of an Uber, with one holding a can of alcohol.

The revelry continued on Wednesday when when another group of women entered the same property - among them, a blonde who previously appeared barefoot with a vape on the balcony of his old place in Balgowlah.

On Wednesday, she wore a black dress with a thigh-high split and black stiletto heels, while juggling car keys, a phone, a bottle of Hendrick's gin and half-drunk bottle of whisky.

And on Thursday, shortly after midday, yet another crowd shuffled into the home carrying boxes of alcohol.

Daily Mail Australia understands most of the visitors on Thursday were Mr Farrell's friends and that despite the festivities, the property has never received a noise complaint.

Mr Lehrmann has been contacted for comment.

In just four days' time, Federal Court Justice Michael Lee will hand down his judgement in Mr Lehrmann's defamation case against Network Ten and Lisa Wilkinson

He launched defamation proceedings over an episode of The Project in February 2021, during which Brittany Higgins went public with her rape allegations for the first time in an interview with Wilkinson.

Ms Higgins alleged Mr Lehrmann raped her in Parliament House in March 2019, when they were both staffers working for the Liberal Party.

He was not named in the broadcast but claimed friends and colleagues were able to identify him as the alleged rapist. He has always maintained his innocence.

The month-long trial was heard in December. Judgement is set for 10.15am on Monday.
