Bruno Fernandes has set a new milestone at Manchester United after creating more chances in one calendar year than any other player in the club's history.
The United captain will be expecting to add to his tally of 120 chances created since the start of the year when Bournemouth travel to Old Trafford later today.
Featuring against the Cherries will also continue Fernandes' astonishing record of never missing a single Premier League match for the club since joining from Sporting Lisbon in January 2020.
Having produced another typical creative masterclass in United's midweek 2-1 win over Chelsea, Fernandes entered the history books at the English giants.
The Portuguese midfielder has now created more chances in 12 months than previous record-holder Ryan Giggs who once carved out 100 openings in a calendar year.

His startling record also beats the all-time statistics of both Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo, who were better known for converting chances rather than creating them.
Rooney made 65 big chances during his outstanding Premier League career, while Fernandes' countryman, Ronaldo, created just seven such opportunities during his time at Old Trafford.
Fernandes has so far registered 15 assists and scored 16 goals in all competitions for United in 2023, but still has five games left of the year to add to that impressive tally.
A dominant 22/23 campaign for Fernandes create more assists than any other player in the Premier League, beating the likes of Man City's Kevin de Bruyne and Liverpool star Mohamed Salah.
