Golf fans are praising Bryson DeChambeau for scolding a man who stole a golf ball from a young child at the PGA Championship.
The 30-year-old, who fell one shot short of Xander Schauffele for the win Sunday, tossed his ball to a child stood against the rope while walking toward the No. 10 tee.
In a fan video posted to X, an adult was seen grabbing the ball before the kid could catch it.
As he started to run away, DeChambeau turned around and approached the pack of fans.
'Hey, hey, hey! Give that ball back,' he yelled.

The man eventually complied, returning the golf ball to the ecstatic young fan.
'This is why Bryson is the man of the people,' one fan responded to the clip.
'This is awesome. A hero the kid will forever remember,' another chimed in.
A third person wrote, 'Not many tour pros would do that. Kudos to Bryson!'
Another added, 'Actions like this just make you smile and wish much success for the guy. He is really good for the game right now.'

However, DeChambeau was quick to praise his rival on winning his first major championship
DeChambeau was also praised for his sportsmanlike behavior after Schauffele clinched his first major championship at Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky.
'That's class,' commentator Jim Nantz said on the CBS broadcast when the SMU alum was seen congratulating Schauffele on the win.
'DeChambeau comes over to give him a nod, a congratulatory handshake,' Nantz added.
He also addressed Schauffele in a press conference, telling reporters he was 'proud of Xander for finally getting the job done.'
'I mean, he's an amazing golfer and well deserved major champion now. He's played well for a long, long time. Played against him as a junior. It's cool to see him, not only he's just a great human being, but an unbelievable golfer, and it shows this week. Super happy for him,' DeChambeau said.
