An 11-year-old boy has died after he was struck by a bus while riding a bike on Queensland's Sunshine Coast.
Emergency services were called to reports a bus was travelling along Jingellic Dr, near Karawatha Dr, in Buderim when it struck a bicycle. about 3.45pm on Tuesday.
The boy was rushed to Sunshine Coast University Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Queensland Police confirmed the boy has since died in hospital.
The Forensic Crash Unit is now investigating the crash.
The CDC bus driver, a managed in his 60s, was not physically injured, and is assisting police with investigations.

Another person was also taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
It's understood the man was a passenger on the bus.
Witnesses or anyone with relevant vision or information is urged to contact police.
The bus company CDC has been contacted for comment.
