Two Perth high school students have been rushed to hospital after a shocking stabbing.
Police were called to Carine Senior High School, north of Perth, on Thursday following reports a 16-year-old boy had been stabbed in the back.
One female and one male have been taken to different Perth hospitals and it is understood their injuries a not life-threatening.
The, aged 15, was taken into custody as a result of the incident.

The girl who was taken into custody has injuries to her neck that are understood to be self-inflicted.
Police are on the scene and the school is in lockdown.
The school's principal, Damian Shuttleworth, informed parents about the 'serious incident' involving two students in a letter, according to 7NEWS.
'I want to reassure you that police attended, the situation was quickly contained, and there is no cause for ongoing concern,' Mr Shuttleworth said.
'We have prioritised support for staff and students following this incident.'
