A woman has died after falling from a popular clifftop lookout.
The woman is believed to have fallen from the peak of Castle Hill in Townsville in North Queensland at 2.54pm on Sunday.
Emergency services were only able to provide limited details about the death, which was later confirmed by Queensland Police as mental health related.
Emergency responders were aided by the Polair Townsville helicopter and the Queensland Government Air in locating the woman's body.

A fire and Emergency Services spokesperson confirmed that the body had been found at 4pm.
The woman had already died by the time she was located.
Castle Hill Road has since been closed and members of the public have been urged to avoid the area.
Castle Hill is an iconic centrepiece of Townsville with stunning 360 degree views of the city.
More than 2,500 locals and tourists visit the landmark and use its walking trails each day.
