An Australian husband and wife have been reportedly murdered at a luxury hotel in the Philippines - and a third person believed to be connected to them is also dead.
The two Australians were reportedly staying at The Lake Hotel, at Tagaytay in Cavite province, southwest of the Philippines capital of Manila.
Radio 2GB broke the news on Thursday.
The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade said it was aware of the deaths and was providing consular assistance to those affected.

The Lake Hotel Tagaytay 'boasts a majestic panorama of the world-famous Taal Lake and volcano' and is a 90 minute drive from Manila.
DFAT released a statement saying 'is providing consular assistance to the families of two Australians who have died in the Philippines'.
